The daily block puzzle
Every day Gumblox has a new puzzle, and everyone plays the same one. It starts on a board with a drawing of blocks already on it, and you get 24 pieces to score as much as you can.
Daily #28
October 26
Today's board: Letter G
How it works
- A new puzzle starts at midnight, your local time.
- The board starts with a drawing on it, such as a heart, stairs or a little house. Fill its rows and columns to pop them and make room.
- You get the 24 pieces three at a time, the same pieces in the same order for everyone.
- The game ends when all 24 are placed or none of your pieces fits. There's no undo or rescue.
- Your first finished game is your score on the day's leaderboard. After that you can practice the puzzle as often as you like.
Race earlier runs
While you play, the earlier runs of friends, and of players who finished near your usual place on the leaderboard, move along with you, so you can see who you pass. To play without them, turn off Race other players' runs in Settings.
The leaderboard
The leaderboard shows the day's top scores and where you place among everyone who has played. When you finish, you can share your result with the day's number and board name, so friends can try the same puzzle. See today's leaderboard.
Streaks
Finish the daily on days in a row to build a streak. Every 7 days in a row earns a streak freeze, and the candy shop has them too. A freeze covers one missed day so your streak keeps going, and you can hold 2.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. There are no ads and nothing costs money, and you can play in your browser.
Do I need an account?
No. The game makes a profile the first time you play, with a random name you can change. Your scores and streak save online as you play.
What do other players see?
The name and buddy you pick and your player level, next to your score on the leaderboard. Kid-safe mode hides other players' names on your device.
